May Must Haves!

Is it just me, or does everyone love the feeling of finding new, amazing products each month? I know my wallet doesn't agree...but hey, at least my soul is happy! :)

Lavanila The Healthy Deodorant

Before trying out an organic deodorant, I'm not gonna lie, I had some prejudice. I thought it was going to smell...earthy. Luckily, the lady in Sephora convinced me that Lavanila is different. They only had two products left on the shelf, and no try-me-outs, so I had to take her word for it. It's a bit on the pricey side ($12 in store, $10 on Amazon), so I hesitated before swiping my credit card, but after learning how it was not only 100% organic, but also scored 0 on the Dirty App (the best possible score), I said yes and couldn't wait to take off the protective packaging and smell it. I was soooo pleasantly surprised with the scent! Very light & refreshing, it immediately reminded me of freshly washed linens! Oh, and it lasts for a loooong time, so the price is not so bad. I look at it as a good investment in my health :)

Vegan 100 by Gaz Oakley

After being seriously obsessed with his YouTube Channel, I needed to get this cookbook...and let me tell ya, I.AM.ADDICTED! To everything. His style, flavor combinations, creative dishes & personality. This cookbook definitely ignites a spark in the kitchen! Pictured here is a purple cabbage soup I was intrigued about when I first saw it...cause...cabbage soup? I loved it so much I had to make it multiple times already!

Plantlab by Matthew Kenney

After traveling to NYC last month and eating in two of his restaurants (Xyst & Double Zero), I needed to get more involved with his cooking, so I immediately bought his cookbook & signed up for one of his Plantlab culinary online courses. The cookbook is very professional, and might slightly scare people who are not very comfortable in the kitchen, but the recipes are not very difficult and you can really work on your skills!

And now...

...something you might not expect of me...but, hey, I did write a blog post on how Cheat Days Won't Ruin Your Life, and I am a HUGE fan of ice cream (actually gelato..but that's a topic for another time :))

Häagen-Dazs Peanut Butter Chocolate Fudge Non-Dairy Ice Cream

I am seriously not kidding with this one. How they managed to create a perfectly creamy ice cream without ANY type of milk beats me, but all I know is - I am down for it! They have lots of new dairy-free flavors, but this one was my first pick and now I'm really excited to try others.
